I still have the silly phone list in my wallet

Hey all,

so I spent hours today uploading photos to facebook. I tagged stuff in the first album... we'll see about the rest. The hours slipped away as I was organizing all the images - figuring out when and where I took them led to memories that I didn't photograph. Sorting through all the other debris of the trip will take forever. In a good way. As I go through things it will reinforce all those memories. Right now, I can remember something from every single day - sometimes it takes something to jog it, but its there.

I haven't ridden a bike since I got back from Seattle on the 21st. My bike is on its way to North Carolina to wait for me, but luckily I brought my pedals and my shoes home so I can get back going on an extra bike here.

I think about you all, all the time. Call the van by September 15th to tell me what you're up to! (I may get a NC number when I move.)

Gosh I miss everyone...
It was so strange to go from B&B stuff to prissy wedding shenanigans. Terra, I've been thinking about you and your trip a lot and I can't wait to hear how you feel about your new mode of travel. Sorry we couldn't meet up in Seattle today, but my family stayed longer in Snoqualmie and then the rain altered our original plans for exploring Seattle more.
I love you all and everyone has an open invitation to visit me in NC any time.

Uh Oh!

Saw this article as I signed online today and thought of Candace and Greg flying home to a potentially erupting volcano....yikes! Hope you two stay safe.

As a bit of an update, I've got nearly all the gear I need to set off from Seattle now. Today I've got to get to the shop and replace my chain and cassette...from what I gather, I think we could all replace these parts. Though, I think it's really only particularly important for me since I'm going to be tugging a lot of weight with that chain. Y'all can probably get by just fine for now if you plan on riding around moderately in the near future. I'm looking to set of either tomorrow or Monday, depending on, well, depending really just on when it feels right. I hope you've all had safe journeys home/vacationing and I will be thinking of you on the road.
